Apollo 18“There’s a reason we’ve never gone back to the moon.”

Apollo 18, the upcoming sci-fi/horror film from The Weinstein Company, chronicles the alleged Apollo 18 mission to the moon in 1974 that conspiracy theorists claim was covered up by NASA. Not much has been revealed about the movie – until now, that is. You can view the trailer below!

Last month, the web was swirling with the news that Ridley Scott‘s Alien prequel supposedly became an entirely new science-fiction film called Prometheus due to script revisions at the hand of LOST writer Damon Lindelof.

While the film is in fact now called Prometheus, actor Michael Fassbender (X-Men: First Class), who will star in the film, said to MTV today that the movie is still connected to the Alien films. Hit the jump to watch the interview!

Last month, PCM brought you the news that “Back to Frank Black” (the online campaign dedicated to bringing back Chris Carter‘s hit TV series Millennium in the form of a feature film) was scheduled to bring together for the first time in over a decade Millennium lead actor Lance Henriksen, producer Frank Spotnitz and creator Chris Carter for an interview to discuss the possibility of a movie version of the show. Writer/Producer Howard Gordon, best known for his work on such hit TV series as 24 and The X-Files, has recently released a new thriller in the form of a novel called Gideon’s War!

In the first fiction novel ever written by Gordon, international peacemaker Gideon Davis finds himself in a bit of a fix when he is given just one day to bring his rogue brother to justice in order to stop a vast global conspiracy, which may force him to start a war in order to maintain peace.

Matt Allair from The X-Files Lexicon recently conducted a great interview with Gordon about his new book. You can watch the trailer for the novel as well as read an excerpt from Allair’s interview with Gordon after the jump!

Beavis and Butt-Head

Yes! YES! A real reason to watch MTV!

Last summer, it was revealed that Mike Judge, original creator of the hit MTV show Beavis and Butt-Head that aired from 1993-1997, is working on 30 new episodes of the series. At the time, it was not confirmed that MTV (or any other network, for that matter) would pick it up. However, we now know straight from the horses mouth that MTV has officially confirmed the return of Beavis and Butt-Head – and it will start airing this summer!

No official air date has been set, but at least we know now that the show is happening, and soon! Click here to watch an episode of the show to remember what we’ve all been missing out on for all these years!
