Right before the teaser trailer for Marvel’s Thor was released, the first official poster for the film was unveiled to the public. While it’s a pretty cool, shadowy-looking poster, I actually found it to be quite similar to a little poster by Troublemaker Studios for another film that was released this past July. Take a look at the poster comparison after the jump!

Shawn Levy

After seeing the first teaser trailer for Dreamworks’ Real Steel, I’m sure many out there are now quite curious about the film and what director Shawn Levy’s vision is for it. Collider.com recently posted a highly insightful interview with the director, which sheds a lot of light on the direction the film is going and what Levy intends to accomplish with it. Check out some of the highlights below!

Back to the Future II_Power Laces

As Back to the Future fans know, part of the second film in the trilogy takes place in the year 2015, and we all wanted the cool futuristic gizmos featured in the movie like hoverboards and flying cars.

Well, the year 2015 is not that far off, and, while we probably won’t have flying cars or hoverboards by then, Nike is currently working on a patent to develop self-lacing sneakers – very similar to what Marty McFly wore in Back to the Future II. Read on for details!

Before I knew it, it was already the last day of Star Wars Celebration V. As a fan, you wait and wait until the next Celebration, and when they finally come around they’re already over with. It is always bittersweet, but at the same time the last day of the convention is always the most relaxing – which is a very good thing after being awake for literally 24 hours the day before.

It was Day 2, and I was extremely excited for the day. Essentially, it was Mark Hamill day for me. I had originally planned on attending “The Sounds of Star Wars” Panel at 10:30 AM with the legendary Ben Burtt, but I ended up walking to the wrong stage. However, it ended up working out for me though, because the stage I walked to was going to have the Mark Hamill panel at 2:30, and the line was just starting to form. Needless to say, I claimed my place in line.
