Before I knew it, it was already the last day of Star Wars Celebration V. As a fan, you wait and wait until the next Celebration, and when they finally come around they’re already over with. It is always bittersweet, but at the same time the last day of the convention is always the most relaxing – which is a very good thing after being awake for literally 24 hours the day before.

Hmm… where to begin? How about 1 AM Saturday morning? That’s when I got up to get ready and go wait in line at the Orange County Convention Center to see first hand The Main Event interview between The Daily Show‘s Jon Stewart and the maker himself – George Lucas.

It was Day 2, and I was extremely excited for the day. Essentially, it was Mark Hamill day for me. I had originally planned on attending “The Sounds of Star Wars” Panel at 10:30 AM with the legendary Ben Burtt, but I ended up walking to the wrong stage. However, it ended up working out for me though, because the stage I walked to was going to have the Mark Hamill panel at 2:30, and the line was just starting to form. Needless to say, I claimed my place in line.

PCM’s new friends over at We Got This Covered recently published an article which analyzes various theories and questions regarding the film Inception. While I tend to lean more towards the movie being pretty straightforward, it cannot be denied that there are other ways one could interpret various elements of the film.

PCM has posted in the past about the campaign by the guys over at Back to Frank Black to get a movie made based on the television series Millennium that aired from 1996-1999. Lance Henriksen, who played the main character of “Frank Black” on the show, is 100% in support of the campaign and has regular communication with Back to Frank Black on the matter. Others who were involved with the show, such as Chris Carter, Frank Spotnitz and Glen Morgan, have also expressed interest.
The show was canceled before it ever got a chance to have a proper conclusion, which is what the movie would accomplish if it were to get made. One of the things Back to Frank Black is doing is holding a Movie Poster Art Contest (which starts Monday, July 26th), in which Lance Henriksen himself will pick the winner! This past April, PCM reported that a six-part comic-book series from Wildstorm was in the works, crossing The X-Files characters “Mulder” and “Scully” with the vampires from the 30 Days of Night film and graphic novels. Well, Fangoria has a review of the first issue, which arrives in stores July 14th!

Ever since Captain America: The First Avenger was announced, people have been wondering just what exactly they would do with the costume to update it because, let’s face it, certain costume designs from the comics would probably not translate well onto film.
Well, now that Chris Evans (the Fantastic Four films) has been cast in the lead role, official artwork has popped up online over at Aint It Cool News of Evans as Captain America! I have to say, I like the new look quite a bit. Have a look for yourself below!
