Some of you may have already seen this on TV, but the new TV Spot for J.J. Abrams‘ Super 8 made its way online over at Yahoo! Movies this morning, which shows some new footage but still cleverly manages to reveal very little about the story (that’s a good thing).

In case you are not aware of the concept of the film, it is basically a throwback to Steven Spielberg‘s coming-of-age Amblin movies from the 80s like The Goonies and E.T. Check out the new TV spot below!

Last December, a teaser trailer for Real Steel (director Shawn Levy‘s upcoming futuristic robot boxing movie) made its way online which actually showed quite a bit of footage considering that it was only a teaser. Now, a full two and a half minute theatrical trailer has been released through Yahoo! Movies that not only shows off tons more robot boxing action, but also reveals much more about the story and its characters. This really does look great, and a lot of fun at that! The fifth episode of director Kevin Tancharoen’s Mortal Kombat: Legacy web series is now online, featuring the continuation of the Mileena and Kitana storyline (played by (Jolene Tran and Sam Tjhia, respectively) which focuses on their training under Shao Kahn, Kitana’s search for the truth about her past and the beginning of Mileena’s growing resentment towards Kitana. In correspondence to May 4th being “Star Wars Day” (May the 4th be with you! Get it?), Lucasfilm has released a more detailed press release regarding the upcoming Star Wars Saga Blu-ray set!

Lucasfilm used a creative way to get the details out by launching a teaser site for the release where users could “share” a link to the site via Twitter and Facebook, which would in turn reveal more and more information until Lucasfilm’s quota of shares was reached. Since it has reached 100%, all details have now been revealed! Read on to see what goodies await!

While perhaps not as exciting as the Wondercon footage that Apple released online, this trailer still packs quite a punch with tons of cool new footage, including more character moments as well as the Guardians of the Universe! The fourth episode of the Mortal Kombat: Legacy web series is now online, and it is definitely worth a look, since it not only features the characters of Mileena (Jolene Tran) and Kitana (Sam Tjhia), but also a first look at Baraka (who kind of looks like an orc from The Lord of the Rings) as well as other legendary villains from the video games the series is based on!

Although the last couple of episodes were censored for some reason, the true spirit of the games has been unleashed in this uncensored episode! Hit the jump to watch!

Last week, Peter Jackson delivered the sad news that Rob Kazinsky, who was originally cast as Fili the dwarf in The Hobbit films, had to drop out of the project for personal reasons. Today, Jackson announced that Kiwi actor Dean O’Gorman (The Almighty Johnsons) will serve as Kazinsky‘s replacement, and also revealed that Lee Pace (The Fall) will play the Elven King Thrandruil!
