Last year marked the long-awaited release of George Lucas’ six Star Wars films on Blu-ray. Now, Lucas’ other hit franchise will be making its way to the blu-ray format in The Complete Indiana Jones Blu-ray Collection, featuring all four Steven Spielberg-directed films presented in high definition picture and sound. Also included with the release will be a “best of” collection of documentaries, interviews and featurettes (presumably from The Adventures of Indiana Jones DVD set), as well as “a few new surprises,” according to the official press release. This announcement has been a long time coming. It is also just incredibly weird that I just re-watched all the films this past weekend! Can’t wait for fall!
