I always find behind-the-scenes stuff fascinating, especially when it deals with such a quality TV show like The X-Files (even if it is only a glimpse). Even though the show has been off the air for 8 years, it still holds up today and continues to please old fans as well as gain new ones, as X-Files writer Vince Gilligan previously pointed out. It is because of The X-Files that we have had more great shows since then, such as LOST, 24 and Fringe. It literally changed television forever.

If you have never before seen the show, I highly recommend watching it. In fact, all nine seasons are not only available on DVD to purchase, but you can also rent them through Netflix (they’re even available in Netflix’s “instant watch” selection).
