I really, really want to see and review this movie but I’m not sure I’ll get the chance to. However, Starlog has reviewed the film. You can read it here.

I am a big fan of Sam Raimi’s work, especially the Evil Dead series and the original Darkman film. After reading the Starlog review of Drag Me to Hell, it sounds like the man has returned to his roots with over-the-top horror, perhaps with some dark comedy mixed in.

Update: I finally have seen the film and I have to say I absolutely loved it. This is classic Sam and Ivan Raimi at their best! Pure, over-the-top slapstick horror! Hopefully Evil Dead 4 is not too far away…
