I’ve been craving a good take on the Dracula story for quite some time. I felt the last real good one was Bram Stoker’s Dracula back in 1992. Now it looks like I may get just what I have been looking for, as an announcement was made at the Cannes Film Festival yesterday that Italian director Dario Argento (Suspiria) will be directing a version of Dracula – in 3D!

Adjustment Bureau

I have to be honest and say that, for some reason, I had never heard of this movie until now. Directed by George Nolfi (writer of The Bourne Ultimatum), The Adjustment Bureau is based on a short story by Phillip K. Dick called “Adjustment Team” and stars Matt Damon and Emily Blunt.

IMDB describes the plot as a story about an affair between a politician and a ballerina that is affected by “mysterious forces keeping the lovers apart.” After watching the trailer, all I can say is that it actually reminds me of Dark City. Take a look at the trailer and see what you think.

Iron Man 2

When the first Iron Man film was released, I had little expectations going in. The previews looked okay, but I knew pretty much nothing about the comic it was based on. Needless to say, Iron Man was the biggest surprise of 2008, at least for me anyway, which meant any subsequent sequels that would follow would have some big shoes to fill. After seeing Iron Man 2, I can safely say that the shoe fits.
