Lost Boys_Corey Feldman

If you’re like me, you did not The Lost Boys straight-to-DVD sequel, Lost Boys: The Tribe. It simply fell way short of the standard set by the original 1987 movie. There’s no way around it.

However, the one thing I did enjoy from The Tribe was Corey Feldman and Jamison Newlander reprising their roles as the “Frog” brothers. Their roles were significantly small in the sequel (especially Newlander’s), but this new trailer for the third movie in the franchise,  Lost Boys: The Thirst, seems to indicate that they will have a huge part to play this time around. I think this bodes well for this second straight-to-DVD sequel from Warner Brothers. Hit the jump to check out the trailer!

A new video featurette for Disney’s The Sorcerer’s Apprentice has just hit the web over at Yahoo! The movie, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, looks like your typical, special effects summer blockbuster, which could be good or bad depending on your taste. But it does have a good cast (Nicolas Cage, Alfred Molina, Jay Baruchel, Monica Bellucci, etc.). I think it looks fairly entertaining myself.

The featurette says it gets released July 16, however the release date has actually been bumped up to Wednesday, July 14th. Check out the featurette after the jump!

LOST_Times_Interview

Last Sunday marked the series finale of the hit TV show LOST. Whether you loved it or hated it (personally, I liked the finale quite a bit), you cannot deny the show’s overall captivating storytelling and the mark it has made on network television.

In honor of the show, The New York Times conducted a live, 100-minute interview with LOST writers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse. They discussed at great length the writing process of the show, answered some lingering questions about past plot points and also took questions from the audience. I found this at /Film the other day and I figured I should re-post it here, since I found it so incredibly informative and entertaining. If you are (or were) a fan of LOST, you should watch this.
