Actually, I really disliked the twist presented by Hopkins’ character at the end. It was so very obnoxiously ‘new school Hollywood’ to assume that since having *one* of something is good, TWO is even better! AND, let’s have them FIGHT! For me, not only was it too formulaic, it presented too many questions about just how self-aware a WolfMan *is* after a change. Why *would* two of them fight each other, if they’re mostly just instinctual?

The rest of it I enjoyed a great deal, but that particular scene just felt like it was on auto-pilot. At least it was blessedly brief!

How sweet it is. I know some concerns about the film getting pushed back, and stuff but these clips look great. I’m really looking forward to this. Hopefully some advertising will get the word out, but previews at the threaters should help a lot. I love the look of this film so far.

I forgot that I had guessed that! And yes, that wasn’t the only X-Files nod in the show.

There was a meeting about the future of the Fringe division, and a comment was made about it: “X-Designation.” The gray-haired actor (Ken Camroux) who played the senator named “Kenneth Taylor” in this episode originally played a character on X-Files – one of the guys from the pilot episode who assigned Scully to the X-Files to spy on Mulder.
