I have always been a fan of the first two Men in Black movies. They’re ridiculous, hilarious, and overall pleasantly entertaining. It seriously was a genius move to team up Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones in a sci-fi comedy film series, and it was only a matter of time before a third film would eventually make its way to the big screen.
Fast forward nearly ten years later, and we now finally get to take a sneak peek at Men in Black III in the first teaser trailer that debuted today on YouTube. Directed once again by Barry Sonnenfeld and shot in 3-D, the film hits theaters nationwide May 25, 2012. Check out the teaser after the jump!

Disney has unleashed the first full epic trailer today for their upcoming fantasy film, John Carter, starring Taylor Kitsch. Adapted from the famous Edgar Rice Burroughs’ novel, John Carpenter of Mars, the story follows the title character as he is mysteriously transported from Earth to Mars, where he winds up entangled in an epic war amongst the inhabitants of the planet who end up depending on Carter’s leadership to pave the way for their survival.
The following preview sells the film quite well, much more so than the first teaser that debuted this past July. Definitely looking forward to this one (despite the fact that “of Mars” was dropped from the title for no apparent reason). Hit the jump to check it out!

Life’s Too Short, the new TV comedy from Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant (The Office, Extras), has already been successfully entertaining British audiences since its premiere on BBC Two November 10th. While it has been known for a while that the series will premiere in February of next year in the United States on HBO, it was officially announced today that it will indeed premiere on February 19, 2012 at 10:30PM /9:30c.
This hilarious, yet endearing TV series stars actor Warwick Davis (Return of the Jedi, Willow, Harry Potter), who plays a comically fictionalized version of himself as he makes his way in the world of showbiz as well as his own personal life. While Davis is the star of the show, it also showcases numerous appearances by Gervais and Merchant, as well as a number of guest appearances by other high-profile actors such as Liam Neeson, Johnny Depp and Steve Carell. Hit the jump to watch the trailer, as well as a couple of video clips featuring Depp and Neeson!

This past weekend saw the debut of the first trailer for Snow White and the Huntsman, depicting a more dark and edgy take on the classic fairytale. Clearly, the film is aimed at more of an adult audience. However, with Mirror, Mirror, the other Snow White film coming out three months earlier, has a different, more younger audience in mind, as director Tarsem Singh has stated in the past that it is intended much more for kids.
In the film, actress Lily Collins portrays Snow White as an exiled princess who bands together with the seven dwarves to win back her birthright and kingdom after it was stolen by the Queen, played by Julia Roberts. The first teaser for the film puts on display its more comedic, light-hearted tone, letting us know – for better or for worse – that this will not be like Snow White and the Huntsman in any way. Hit the jump to see for yourself!

Hollywood has keenly set its sights on the story of Snow White recently, developing various projects which all re-imagine the classic fairytale. First off, a few weeks ago, ABC just debuted its new show, Once Upon a Time, which centers around Snow White’s daughter discovering her fairytale past while living in the real world. There is also a theatrical film set to debut next March titled Mirror, Mirror, starring Lily Collins as Snow White, an exiled princess who seeks out seven rebels to win back her birthright after the evil Queen, played by Julia Roberts, steals control of the kingdom.
To top it all off, a third, and possibly more visually epic take on the Snow White story is coming to theaters this June titled Snow White and the Huntsman, starring Kristen Stewart as Snow White, Charlize Theron as the Queen, and Chris Hemsworth as the Huntsman. In this particular retelling, a Huntsman is ordered by the Queen to kill Snow White, but instead winds up becoming her protector and fellow warrior in a quest to annihilate the Queen. Now, before you go and write off the film as just another Twilight-ish movie simply because Stewart’s in it, watch the trailer and then form your opinion. I think you’ll be quite surprised at how good this looks!

Trailer #3 for Lucasfilm’s Red Tails has hit the web, and is by far the best trailer yet for the film. Directed by Anthony Hemingway and produced by George Lucas, the film chronicles the story of the first African-American fighter pilots to serve in World War II. This new trailer balances drama and character with just the right amount of action to let us know that this is one WWII movie that you do not want to miss out on. And besides, isn’t it appealing enough that this a Lucasfilm production that isn’t a Star Wars or Indiana Jones film? Hit the jump for the official synopsis of Red Tails and to watch the trailer!

If you were one of the few people who went to see Paul W.S. Anderson’s The Three Musketeers in 3-D this weekend, you should have seen the new trailer for Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace in 3-D attached to the film. I actually went to see The Three Musketeers (which is actually a pretty entertaining movie in 3-D) and saw the trailer, and the 3-D looks pretty impressive. Lucasfilm has made sure to have people who actually worked on the film convert it to 3-D, and they have been taking their sweet little time with it instead of rushing it out like Clash of the Titans did last year.
You’ll have to check out The Three Musketeers in 3-D if you want to see the 3-D trailer for The Phantom Menace, but you can check out the trailer in 2-D after the jump, which is still a fun trailer in and of itself.

A new trailer has debuted online today that first premiered at the 2011 Spike Scream Awards recently for the upcoming gothic horror film, The Woman in Black. The film stars Harry Potter alum, Daniel Radcliffe, who plays a lawyer that makes his way to a remote village on business and discovers that the town is being haunted by the ghost of a vengeful woman.
The trailer is very much like the UK trailer that debuted recently, and perhaps isn’t as creepy as the first full U.S. trailer, but it is definitely still worth a look nonetheless. It is really too bad the film isn’t coming out in time for Halloween, since it looks like it might just be one of the classiest horror films to come our way in quite a long time. Have a look after the jump!

Last March, Lucasfilm announced that Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace would be converted to 3-D and released on February 10th, 2012 (providing that it proves successful enough at the box office, the remaining films will also be converted to 3-D and released some time later). Starting next week on October 21st, Star Wars fans can check out a glimpse of it in a new trailer attached to the 3-D release of Paul W.S. Anderson’s The Three Musketeers!
Also, while it is not really news to people who watched Season 3 of Cartoon Network’s Star Wars: The Clone Wars, it has been made truly official that Darth Maul, the Sith apprentice that supposedly met his demise at the hand of Obi-Wan Kenobi in The Phantom Menace, will be resurrected for an appearance in The Clone Wars next spring! Hit the jump for details on his return, as well as a look at the new poster for Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace in 3-D!
