A new TV Spot for J.J. AbramsSuper 8 has just hit the web, although admittedly it is not as stellar as the full-length trailer that debuted a few weeks ago. Saying that, it is still worth a look since there are a couple of new things to see that weren’t in the original trailer, and anything getting the word out on this highly secretive tribute to Steven Spielberg‘s sci-fi films from the 70s and 80s is a good thing. You can head on over to TheMovieBox.net’s YouTube site to check out the TV Spot.

In addition, an LA Times interview with the kid actors from the film at the Kids’ Choice Awards has also made its way online, which, to the best of my knowledge, is the first time they have actually been publicly interviewed for the film. You can find the video interview embedded after the jump!

Official Synopsis:

In the summer of 1979, a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness a catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident. Shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town, and the local Deputy tries to uncover the truth – something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined.

In case you haven’t already seen the original trailer for the film, I suggest you click here to take a look! This is definitely one film you should be watching out for this summer!

Super 8, directed by J.J. Abrams and executive produced by Steven Spielberg, hits theaters nationwide June 10th!
