Back in July, PCM posted an article about a movie poster art contest from the guys over at Back To Frank Black to help get people interested in the possibility of a movie based on the TV series Millennium, which aired for three years but was canceled in 1999 before the show could properly resolve its storyline.

Millennium actors Lance Henriksen and Klea Scott, along with The X-Files/Millennium music composer Mark Snow, hopped on board as judges to pick the top three winners, who received various prizes such as the Millennium Complete Series DVD boxed set. Check out the video Back To Frank Black posted announcing the winners after the jump!

You can also listen to the Back to Frank Black podcast with Lance, Klea and Mark announcing the winners here.

I must say, I was a bit surprised by the results. While they were good, I thought for sure at least one of the hand-drawn posters would have placed in the top three (which, I hear, almost happened). However, out of the three that did win, the poster that placed second (created by Jussi Saarikkomäki) is my favorite. Definitely looks the most like an actual movie poster in my opinion. Great job to everyone that participated!

To see the other winners (and believe me, you must see these), check out BackToFrankBlack.com’s Movie Poster Art section of their website by clicking here. Seriously, the gallery is phenomenal!
