Let me just start off by saying that I have never “read” the 9-10 sentence book Where the Wild Things Are, so I do not have a real good idea of how close this new film by Spike Jonze is to the original story. What I do know is that this movie perfectly captures what it is like to be a kid that perhaps doesn’t have a lot of friends, has some trouble at home and simply wants to escape for a while.
In the spirit of the season, I felt it appropriate to post this rare, hour-long interview with legendary film director Alfred Hitchcock that I stumbled upon at /Film . It was conducted by Tom Snyder on the Tomorrow Show in 1973, and originally thought to be lost – until now. The interview has been transferred from a VHS copy to YouTube!

Well, a few weeks ago, Lance Henriksen (”Frank Black” on Millennium) broke the news that independent investors have approached him about possibly making a film based on the short-lived Millennium TV series. Well, apparently ScreenRant has more details/rumors on the matter, including a possible director!

Being the huge X-Phile that I am, I had to post these slide shows of original set pictures from the first X-Files film, Fight the Future. I am pretty sure that the only other place you can find most of these photos is in the book entitled The Complete X-Files, so I figured it would be fun to take a trip back to 1998 and remember when The X-Files was at the top of its game by posting these great photos here.
