Ray Park, who most people know as Darth Maul from Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, has been cast in NBC’s Heroes TV Series! He’ll be joining Deanne Bray (Sue Thomas: F.B. Eye; The L Word), Robert Knepper (Prison Break) and Madeline Zima (Californication).

Ray Park is seriously one of the nicest and cordial celebrities I have ever met, and I am so glad to see him getting more work! He is also known for playing “Toad” in the first X-Men film and will also be seen playing “Snake Eyes” in the upcoming G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra this August. He is an incredibly talented martial artist and actor, and a role on Heroes seems to be very fitting for him! Looks like I’ll have to play catch up with the show and Netflix the episodes I haven’t seen yet!

Update: As of June 8, 2009 Ray Park officially signed on for Heroes, according to TheForce.net.
